When will SSA send the next retirement check?
The next Social Security check day does not depend on the type of retirement. Regardless of why a citizen is retired, they will receive their benefit on the same day as everyone else. This means that disability and age retirees receive their payment on the same day, if they are in the same group.
Generally speaking, there are 3 different groups. The first group consists of retirees born between the 1st and 10th of the month. The second of these groups is made up of beneficiaries born between the 11th and 20th of the month. Finally, the other group is made up of users with birthdays between the 21st and 31st of the month.
In addition to these three groups, there is a different group of beneficiaries who retired before 1997. This group of retirees is always paid on the 3rd day of each month, with some exceptions.
