Across the United States having a Social Security benefit means knowing exactly what day you’ll collect your retirement check. And that’s a huge advantage over other types of payments, since you can mark on your calendar the exact day you can have the money in your pocket. This is especially true if you only get Social Security every month as a source of income.
Although this practice is not recommended, it is very common for retirees to have no other extra income. For that reason, knowing the time of the month when we will have the money available is so important. Even so, it is good to keep in mind that the Social Security Administration sends the money for payments on up to 4 different days. In order to determine which is our payday it is necessary to take into account two personal data.
With only these two personal data we will be able to have in mind which will be the exact day in which the Social Security will pay us our benefit. In this way we will be able to have a perfect organization with respect to our economy at home. In the case of collecting a joint benefit, each of the beneficiaries will get their check depending on these personal data.
There is also another payment day when the Social Security Administration sends a new check. That other day is totally different and the benefit is not for everyone. What we mean is that there are up to 5 different payments in a usual month, but 1 of those payments is not for pensions. Do you know which group your benefit belongs to?
NEXT SOCIAL SECURITY CHECK
The next Social Security check is only for a specific group of retirees. In order to get this check, two essential requirements must be met. If we do not meet these requirements, it does not mean that we will not get the check in November, but it does mean that we will not get it on the upcoming November 8th.
The requirements to get this payment are:
- Have a Social Security benefit since after 1997. This is essential, since the Administration divides retirees into two main groups, taking 1997 as the starting point.
- Having a birthday between the 1st and 10th of any month. If your birthday is between these two days, you will be able to receive the payment on November 8th, although you must also meet the other requirement.
But this payment is not the last of the November payments, as there are two more payments.
OTHER RETIREMENT PAYMENTS IN NOVEMBER
After this payment, the Social Security Administration will send other checks to retirees. In total there are two more payments within the month of November and we must meet other different requirements to get them.
Even so, what is certain is that we will cash a check in the case of having the retirement previously accepted. The day will change depending on the personal data, but getting the payment is absolutely certain.
After the payment on the 8th day there are two more Social Security payments. The payment following this day is on the 15th of November. This payment is for retirees with a post-1997 check and birthday between the 11th and 20th of the month.
On the other hand, the last check for the month of November will be on the 22nd day. On this day it is not only mandatory to have the benefit since after 1997, but it is also necessary to have a birthday between the 21st and 31st and of any month.
