Before the end of March, a group of SSDI recipients in the United States will be able to receive a new check, but they are not the only ones with an upcoming collection, as the VA Disability Benefit is also about to arrive and we could be in the group of citizens eligible to receive it.
So, regardless of whether we get the SSDI or VA Disability payment, we will be able to mark the day on the calendar when we will soon receive our retirement benefit. It should also be noted that both of these payments are related to the March 2025 payment, even though one of them will actually arrive in April of this year.
When is the new SSDI coming?
The new SSDI payment will be arriving very soon for United States citizens. This week, the Social Security Administration will make the last of the March retirement payments. This payment will be sent by the Administration on March 26th, so only a specific group will be eligible for collection.
To get this SSDI check, you must meet two conditions. The first is to have received payment since after May 1997. The second is to have your birthday between the 21st and 31st of any given month.
Thus, both requirements are mandatory but it is not mandatory to have SSDI payment as such, since the rest of the retirees who meet the two conditions can receive the check. Therefore, if we have the payment for retirement due to age or for another reason, we can still get it.
When does the March VA Disability arrive?
This payment arrives on a different day to the SSDI, as they are two different benefits. The payment for this benefit usually arrives on the first day of the following month. This means that the payment could be sent on April 1st, 2025. And as there are no exceptions in this month, the payment will arrive on that day for the beneficiaries of this benefit.
Remember that the payment that will be sent on April 1st actually belongs to March. Therefore, we are talking about the check for the March VA Disability benefit and not for April. Similarly, the SSDI payment for March 26th is also for the same month.
