The August payment schedule has begun, but not all checks arrive on the same day for United States Disability beneficiaries. The day we will get each of the payments will depend on several factors. The year of retirement and the day of the beneficiary’s birthday determine which group of retirees each American belongs to.
So if you check the requirements for the August 21st Disability payment you can find out if you will get it or not. The important thing in this case is to meet both requirements. If you meet them, well you can access the SSDI check of up to $3,822, which is the maximum in this year 2024.
Who gets the new August 21st Disability payment?
A new Disability benefit payment on August 21st will have two requirements. If we want to get this check we are going to have to meet both of them. If we don’t meet them we will not be able to access the payment, but will have to wait a little longer to be able to collect SSDI.
Even so, we may have already gotten the payment in the past. There are a total of four payment days, and getting paid earlier or later depends directly on the group of retirees to which we belong. In the case of the August 21st payment, we have to belong to group 3. And it does not matter if the check is for Disability or for another reason.
What is important in these cases are two specific characteristics. On the one hand, it is mandatory to have a benefit since May 1997. On the other hand, it is also indispensable to have been born between the 11th and 20th of any month. This is something we cannot choose or change, so if we do not meet the requirements there is no way to access the check for this particular day.
More August 2024 Disability Payments
The August 21st payment is not the last of the checks for Social Security Disability payments for the entire month. In addition to this day, in the next few weeks we will find a new payment that we can get if we meet certain requirements. Also, there is an extra payment at the end of the month that will assure us a new check of up to $943 that not all Americans can get.
In this sense, the payment after August 21st will be on August 28th. To get the payment on this day we will have to meet two requirements. The first is, as with the August 21st and August 14th payments, to have been retired after May 1997. The second requirement is to have a birthday between the last ten days of the month, that is, between the 21st and 31st of any month of the year.
The last payment for the entire month of August from Social Security, whether it is for Disability or not, will be on the 30th of the month. On this day, the Social Security Administration will pay your Supplemental Security Income check. Remember that this payment is not for all retired citizens. Only those who are eligible can get this benefit. So check the eligibility criteria to find out if you get it or not.
