Before the end of next week in September, the United States Social Security Administration will pay a large portion of Disability benefits. If you are part of the group of beneficiaries who get this check on a monthly basis, you may need to pay attention to the mandatory requirements. If you meet them, this check will be available to you. If not, you will have to wait a little while before you finally get it.
In total, the Social Security Administration pays four different checks during the month. Each beneficiary, whether for Disability or other reasons, can only get one of these checks. It is different to also have a Supplemental Security Income payment, in which case we can get up to 3 different payments in a month if there are irregularities in the calendar.
But leaving this aside, we should look at what the conditions are for having a Disability payment next week in September. This will be the second payment of the month, which means that the payment for group 1, which appeared in the bank accounts last September 3, 2024, is already available. The rest of retirees will get their benefit soon.
Disability payments in the coming week
The payment day will be on the 11th of September and it is only possible to get check in case of being within the group 2 retirees. And this group is composed of both beneficiaries with a disability and all other retirees with a check accepted. So if you have an accepted payment and meet two requirements you will be able to get the benefit without any problems.
Retirees who get the September 11th payment are:
- Those who have an accepted check from after 1997.
- Those who also have a birthday between the 1st and 10th.
Both requirements are absolutely mandatory, so there is no way to get this September 11th payment if we do not meet both of them. In addition, if we intend to have the Disability payment on this specific day it is necessary to activate Direct Deposit as a collection method. This collection method is immediate, so we will not have to wait even one more day to have the money available in the checking account.
