Who can receive this medical help?
To apply for Medicare it is necessary to meet several requirements. These requirements are fundamental and mandatory. Therefore, we will not be able to apply for Medicare if we do not meet them previously.
These are the conditions to be met in order to access all kinds of medical help:
- Be 65 years of age or older (or, failing that, have a disability).
- Have worked for a period of time in jobs that pay Social Security.
This gives access to Part A and Part B free. However, for some people these coverages are insufficient. But for that there are the other coverages. On the one hand, we have Part B premium. On the other hand, we have Part C, or Medicare Advantage, and Part D, which is related to drugs.
Regardless of the plan we have, Medicare is always an advantage. Being able to access great financial help in the medical field makes it possible for millions of Americans to receive treatments that would otherwise be impossible. And now that diabetics will pay less for their insulin treatment, the advantages are even greater.
