The Middle Class Tax Refund has created a great service for United States citizens. Thanks to this refund, thousands of Americans have received stimulus checks worth more than a thousand dollars. This is a great incentive on the part of the government, and there are many American families who are having a really hard time with the current world situation.

In this regard, before the end of the week, the State of California will send out the last stimulus checks. These checks are for a minimum of $1,000 and no further action is required to receive them. Any Californian citizen who has filed his or her tax return on time will have access to this check. However, there are a number of requirements that must be met in order to receive the stimulus check. The first requirement is to have filed your tax return on time.

The deadline for these checks is next Sunday, January 15, 2023. This does not mean that thousands of Americans will receive the stimulus check directly on that day. Then, the IRS will send it out, but some taxpayers may not receive it until a few days later. So citizens who have already received this payment will not receive an extra one.

How is it possible to receive this stimulus check in 2023?

As we have previously discussed, many taxpayers already have this stimulus check in their pocket. This is because they have Direct Deposit activated. Thanks to having Direct Deposit there is no need to wait to have this money available. The taxpayers who will receive the check in the next few days are all those who have not activated this collection method.

These checks will arrive in the form of a debit card via a snail mail letter. Don’t forget to check your cards. No citizen wants to throw their stimulus check in the trash for not checking the mail.

Who receives these checks?

The maximum payment for these stimulus checks is $1,050. Filers who receive it are married or joint filers with an adjusted gross income of $150,000 or less in the attorney’s 2020 tax year. The minimum reimbursement is $200. The stimulus check in this amount is received by citizens without dependents with adjusted gross income of $125,001-$250,000 in tax year 2020.

The total number of refunds has been 7,020,930, worth $8.7 billion in total. This figure will increase slightly in the coming days with the mailing of the final round of stimulus checks.

If you believe you should have received one of these stimulus checks but the IRS has not sent it to you, you can contact the IRS by calling 800-542-9332 or visiting the California Franchise Tax Board’s website.
