Throughout the United States, Social Security payments work the same way. The IRS payment schedule may vary a little, since most of the time it depends on the State of the United States in which the citizen lives. Therefore, we must monitor these times very well to know when we will receive some of these checks.
Social Security benefits follow the pattern set by the Administration. Thus, the second, third and fourth Wednesday of the month are the days chosen for pensioners to receive their benefit check. On the other hand, citizens could get a check from the IRS in the next few hours. But this second mailing of money is influenced by other factors.
However, it should also be noted that the Social Security check is not for all pensioners. Only pensioners who meet a requirement can have the check in their pocket within 5 days. This requirement has nothing to do with the type of retirement. So it doesn’t matter if the pensioner has a disability or age retirement.
Who receives the next Social Security check?
The retirees who receive the next Social Security check are those who were born between the 11th and 10th of the month. Likewise, the rest of the retirees who were not born between these days will receive their pension in one of the following weeks. To know the exact day just check the calendar. The thing that we can say today is that seniors are about to get a new check in a matter of hourse. The payment day is 18th, but people with Direct Deposit are just hours ago to enjoy a new payment.
This group of retirees is not the only one receiving a check this January 2023. While it is true that these retirees should already have the money in their pocket, it could still take a few days for it to appear. These are the other groups collecting a benefit this month.
- 3rd Wednesday of January. This is the 18th day of the month. On this day retirees born between the 11th and 20th collect their benefit.
- 4th Wednesday in January. The Social Security Administration sends the pension check to retirees born between the 21st and 31st of the month.
However, remember that this is not the only payment United States citizens can receive, as there are other payments, even if the Social Security Administration is not the organization that sends these checks.
Who is receiving an IRS stimulus check in the near future?
Citizens of the State of California may receive a stimulus check before January 14 due to the tax refund. This payment is completely separate from the Social Security Administration. This payment may still find its way into the pockets of Californian citizens, although the IRS has already sent out all available checks.
In order to receive one of these payments, the citizen must have filed his or her 2020 tax return by October 15, 2021. If you have done so, you are still in time to receive one of these IRS stimulus checks.
Don’t forget to check your mail if you don’t have Direct Deposit activated, as the IRS may send you the tax refund stimulus check via a debit card by postal mail. Sometimes these letters appear to be unofficial, so watch out that they don’t end up in the trash.
California’s stimulus checks could arrive throughout the week. The IRS sent them out as late as the 15th, but that doesn’t mean their recipients will receive them immediately, as through snail mail it can take a while for them to reach taxpayers’ pockets.
In addition to this, there are also some users who could receive a tax relief check. It all depends on the taxes and tax return they have filed in the last year. If you have any doubts, contact the IRS without hesitation.
