In just one week millions of United States citizens will be able to enjoy a new Social Security disability check. In addition, due to an irregularity in the calendar, those same citizens will be able to receive an extra check. This means that on the same day many Americans will have two separate Social Security payments.
And not only citizens with a disability, but anyone who meets all the requirements. In order to receive these checks we must take into account several factors. If we meet these factors, we will have a check in a matter of days. After that check there are many others within the month of September. So there is no need to worry in case we are not on the list for the next payday.
Still, check the requirements well because many of the citizens who will receive the payment don’t know it yet. The next disability check could be yours, so pay attention to this in order to be able to organize the economy in the best possible way within your own household. Do you meet the requirements to receive the next disability check?
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE NEXT SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY CHECK
When determining who will receive the next Social Security disability payment, there is something to keep in mind. The type of disability does not really matter in determining payday. What matters are other elements. If we meet the other elements, the cause of getting SSDI doesn’t matter.
The next of the Social Security payments will be the 1st of the month. This means that this is the first payment for the entire month of September. The check will be for retirees who have had the benefit since before 1997. This is what is really important in determining whether or not we will receive the payment.
Any of the beneficiaries with a physical disability will be able to receive their check if they have had it accepted since before 1997. So if you are in this group, on the 1st of the month you could have a payment of up to $3,627, just like every month.
WHAT IS THE FASTEST WAY TO COLLECT SOCIAL SECURITY?
There are two ways to collect Social Security, disability or otherwise. As of today, it is impossible to receive this benefit through a physical check. This method is no longer useful because it was very slow and insecure.
For that reason, today we have two ways to collect any Social Security benefit:
- Bank deposit.
- Direct deposit.
Both methods are very useful and secure, but Direct Deposit is much faster. If we activate this option, the disability benefit will appear automatically in our bank account.
With Direct Deposit, it will take up to three days to receive the money from Social Security. While this is not a long time, sometimes the wait can be longer because there is a weekend in between.
