Still haven’t gotten your Food Stamps money but you live in the United States? Don’t worry, next week is the last week to send the payment in most states, so you will probably get the money very soon.
The SNAP benefit is intended to give Americans direct access to fresh food. For that reason, Food Stamps money often goes to supermarkets with vegetables and other healthy foods.
It is also possible to spend SNAP money at selected restaurants, although this is not possible in all states. If you have a check accepted for this benefit, chances are you have already gotten it.
However, since the organization of Food Stamps payments is statewide, every citizen will get their money depending on where they live. What is certain is that September 28th is the last day of payment of these benefits, although it is true that this is only within a very few states.

WHICH STATES ARE SENDING FOOD STAMPS NEXT WEEK?
The list of states that will be sending out Food Stamps in the next week is as follows. Most of them have a deadline of September 23rd, but it does not mean that they will take that long to send the money.
Some of the States on this list have already sent the money. So check your EBT card just in case you have already gotten your benefit and didn’t notice. Let’s look at that list of states:
- Alabama: September 4-23
- Florida: September 1 to 28
- Georgia: September 5-23
- Indiana: September 5 – 23
- Louisiana: September 1 – 23
- Maryland: September 4 – 23
- Mississippi: September 4 – 21
- Missouri: September 1 – 22
- North Carolina: September 3 – 21
- Tennessee: September 1 – 20
- Texas: September 1 to 28
- Washington: September 1 to 20
The rest of the States have already sent the money in the past. Also, there are a couple of States that will send SNAP Food Stamps money through the 28th, but they are in the minority. The most important thing in these cases is to keep an eye on the EBT card and check to see if we have already gotten the money.
Once we get it we can use it on whatever we need that is food related. At the end of the day, that is the purpose of this money, so we should not spend it on anything other than food.
And remember, you can combine this benefit with both Social Security retirement and Supplemental Security Income. So you can get up to three checks a month if you meet all the requirements.
