The new United States Social Security payment is on its way and only one group of beneficiaries will be able to get it. The group receiving this check will not be able to get another retirement check until the end of November, so you should monitor spending well during that time.
If you have a Social Security retirement check accepted, whether because of age, disability or some other reason, you could get a payment of up to $4,555 in just 24 hours. This payment is for the fourth week of October. This month’s payment schedule ends with this check, so it is the last one for the entire month.
But not just any retiree will be able to get this benefit. In order to get the next Social Security payment we have to meet a couple of requirements. However, just by meeting the requirements, the Social Security Administration will send us the payment and we will be able to enjoy it and use it for whatever we need.
In any case, in case we do not belong to this particular group, we should take a good look at the requirements of the other payments. Being the last payment of the whole October, the check should already be in our pocket if we are part of another group. So we may have to claim the payment from the Social Security Administration or our bank.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE NEW SOCIAL SECURITY PAYMENT
The requirements for the new Social Security check are twofold. In this case, we already know that the first requirement is to have a birthday between the 21st and 31st of any month. It is important to note that we are talking about any month. It is not mandatory to be born in October to get the payment for the month of October.
Likewise, it is not necessary to be born in May to get the May payment. Retirees receive their check every month regardless of the month of their birth. With that clear, let’s look at the other requirement.
The second mandatory condition is to have a Social Security benefit accepted since after 1997. This year is a point of separation between two large groups of retirees. Pre-1997 retirees always collect on the same day, regardless of their birthday. Beneficiaries after that year can collect on up to three different days.
In this particular case we are talking about the fourth Wednesday of the month, November 25th. The payment, therefore, is for post-1997 retirees with birthdays between the 21st and 31st of any month. There is no other requirement in order to get this new payment.
WHEN DOES THE NEXT SSI PAYMENT ARRIVE?
With the absence of the Supplemental Security Income payment, beneficiaries of this Social Security benefit are wondering when they will get the new check. The Administration did not send the SSI payment in October due to an irregularity in the calendar.
But in November there are no problems with this benefit, so all beneficiaries who have accepted it will be able to get a check without any problems. The 1st of November is the date marked on the calendar to receive the payment.
After that date, the Social Security Administration will send different payments to retirees. These checks have their requirements, such as tomorrow’s payment on October 25th, so not all beneficiaries can get all the checks.
In the month of November the retirement payments will be on the 3rd, 8th, 15th and 22nd, depending on both the year of retirement and the birthday of each American with a check accepted.
