Social welfare is one of the major goals of all United States citizens. The best way to achieve this is always for the Social Security Administration to be able to smoothly send checks to your beneficiaries every month. Through the Old-Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance (OASDI) program, Social Security does this through payroll taxes.
We must pay close attention to this type of benefit, as not all checks reach all retirees. The Social Security Administration has a payment schedule that causes some beneficiaries to receive checks on a different day than others. Even so, there is nothing to worry about in terms of receiving the money, as all retirees will always receive their check every month.
Through this social insurance, the United States federal government makes payments to Social Security beneficiaries. The next of the checks will arrive in just a few days and it is only for a specific group of retirees. If you are on the list, you should be able to get the money soon. If not, you will have to wait for the next payments. Are you on the list of beneficiaries?
Which group of retirees receives the next Social Security check?
Retirees receiving the next payment issued under the Social Security Act must have applied for retirement after 1997. That is the first of the requirements, but there is another one. Although the second requirement has nothing to do with the year of retirement, it has to do with the retiree’s birthday.

Thus, the next day’s payment will be for retirees born between the 11th and 20th of the month. This payment will hit beneficiaries’ pockets soon, so if your birthday is between those days and you have a benefit, you could receive it very soon.
When is the next federal retiree pension remittance?
This payment is not just for retirees, as survivors and disability pensioners will also receive a check. Only if they meet the appropriate requirements, of course. The payday for this benefit is next April 19, 2023.
This is the third Wednesday of the month, the day assigned in the Social Security calendar for beneficiaries with birthdays between the 11th and 20th. It is important to remember that this rule applies only if we have applied for retirement after 1997. If we have been retired since before that date, our benefit should have arrived on April 3rd.
Other April Payments
To ensure social welfare, the Social Security Administration sends checks on up to 4 different days. Usually there may be 5 days of payments, since Supplemental Security Income is also included in the schedule.
But an irregularity in April has forced the Administration to send out Supplemental Security Income payments early. The 1st of the month is the payment day for this check, but that changes when the 1st is a holiday or weekend. In that case, the payment is sent on the immediately preceding business day. And that’s why in March we had an extra payday and in April Social Security sends out one less check.
In addition to the next payment on April 19, Social Security also pays on the 3rd, 12th and 26th. Each group of retirees receives their payment on a different day, so pay attention to the calendar to make sure when you will receive it.
