Thousands of beneficiaries in the United States have been waiting for November 2023 for the entire month of October. And that is because the Social Security Administration did not send out all the usual checks in the previous month and has caused many retirees to have one less check in those days. Therefore, those same retirees are waiting for a month with full payment.
And it will be the month of November when Social Security beneficiaries will be able to get all the usual checks. Thus, retirees who also have Supplemental Security Income will get both checks without any problems. This is very good news for those who are waiting to get both SSI and Social Security because of retirement, disability or some other reason.
However, just because the Social Security Administration sends up to 5 different checks does not mean that all retirees will get all of these checks. The limit in these cases is two checks, although in exceptional months it may be three. In any case, the best thing to do in these cases is to check the payment schedule and see on which day you will get each check.
ALL SOCIAL SECURITY PAYMENTS IN NOVEMBER
Even though November has just begun, the Social Security Administration has already sent out one of the monthly benefit checks. Many citizens will already have that check, but other groups are waiting to get it. This first payment is Supplemental Security Income.
So that you can mark your personal calendar for the November benefit collection day, here are the full days:
- November 1st. Payment of Supplemental Security Income for all SSI recipients.
- November 3rd. Retirees with a Social Security check prior to 1997 collect their payments on this day.
- November 8th. Retirement check arrives to post-1997 beneficiaries with their birthday between the 1st and 10th of the month.
- November 15th. Any retiree with a post-1997 check and birthday between the 11th and 20th can collect on this day.
- November 22nd. Retirees with a pensioner’s post-1997 pension and birthday between the 21st and 31st collect on this day of the month.
With this guide it is much easier to determine on which day we can get each check. Still, remember that you can only get one of these pension checks and the Supplemental Security Income. It is not possible to cash the payment on the 3rd and 15th of November, for example. But you can cash the check for the 1st of the month and one of the other four Social Security checks.
HOW DO YOU GET YOUR RETIREMENT PAYMENT ON TIME?
One of the big questions for American retirees is what they need to do to get their Social Security payments on time and without delay. The first thing to consider is the method of payment. There are two methods for collecting the benefit. The first one is through bank deposit and the second one is through Direct Deposit.
And this second method is the fastest of all. Thanks to Direct Deposit we can immediately get any Social Security payment without the need to wait. This means that there are no delays in any of the monthly payments.
Even so, remember to keep all your personal information up to date to avoid delays in the checks for the month. Also, if we have no debts with the bank we will be able to enjoy our Social Security payment sooner.
