When a citizen starts to collect their monthly SNAP Food Stamps benefit, they may notice that the payment schedule for this benefit is a little different to the rest. Social Security payments in the United States arrive on different days of the month depending on which group of retirees we belong to. But the SSA schedule is federal, while SNAP is state-based.
In order to receive the new SNAP Food Stamps payment before the end of March, we must check whether our state will send the check soon. There is a possibility that this check has already been sent, so we must check the payment schedule carefully before claiming a late check from the USDA.
