With each new month that begins, Disability beneficiaries in the United States can receive a new check for their pocketbook. Thanks to this type of benefit, millions of retirees have enough money to pay their regular bills and expenses. However, it is true that not all citizens with Disability receive their benefits on the same day of the month.
One of the best things about the U.S. Social Security Administration system is its calendar arrangement. Through this payment schedule any American can find out on what day they will receive their next benefit. This makes it much easier to organize at home and makes it easy for beneficiaries with Disability to know when they will get their money next.
And this calendar is not only for Disability retirees, but also for any type of retiree. In addition, citizens who also receive Supplemental Security Income can find out on what day they will receive this other benefit. Even irregularities are usually listed on this calendar. So if you are waiting for a Social Security check, you should know that the Administration will soon be sending one.
Who is the next Disability benefit check for?
Disability retirees who have a previously accepted benefit could receive their check very soon. The payment could arrive on the same day July 3, 2023. This will be the case for those retirees who, in addition to belonging to the group of retirees who receive the check, have Direct Deposit activated.
In order to belong to this group of beneficiaries, only one requirement must be met. That requirement is none other than having the benefit prior to 1997. It does not matter if the check is for disability, age, widowhood or any other reason. The important thing in these cases is to have the benefit accepted prior to that year.
When do other retirees collect Social Security?
In order to find out when retirees who do not belong to this group will receive their Social Security benefits, we only need to check the calendar. Any disability beneficiary who has a disability retirement after 1997 will receive a check on one of the following days.
- July 12th. Payment for retirees born between the 1st and 10th of the month.
- July 19th. Beneficiaries with benefits and birthdays between the 11th and 20th of the month.
- July 26th. Any citizen with date of birth between the 21st and 31st of the month.
By activating Direct Deposit we will be able to receive the check on the same day that the Administration sends it. In addition, remember that it does not matter what type of benefit you have. Both disability and non-disability retirees receive checks on the same day. What is important in these cases is the date of the birthday and the year of retirement.
