United States residents who meet certain Social Security requirements may be able to receive a double Supplemental Security Income in June. In fact, these requirements are very easy to meet and don’t require a lot of work. Therefore, almost any American who wants to can receive an extra June Supplemental Security Income check.
However, keep in mind that this does not mean more money than other Supplemental Security Income recipients. This double payment is due to a scheduling irregularity. In this sense, all beneficiaries will see their payments in advance. But not everyone will be able to enjoy the money in the same month of June.

Why is there a double Supplemental Security Income payment in June 2023?

In the case of having a check for $400 a month, for example, we will receive a total of $800 between the two months. There is no extra check that makes it $1,200. It is the same amount of money, but we will receive it sooner.
