New Supplemental Security Income payments will be coming soon to beneficiaries in the United States with this accepted benefit. Thanks to this, some of these beneficiaries will be able to enjoy a new check in advance. The Social Security Administration will not be sending out a Supplemental Security Income check in July due to a scheduling irregularity.
Within this irregularity we find that the Supplemental Security Income check will arrive earlier, but that does not mean that we will have extra money. By the end of July, all recipients will have received the same amount as usual between these two months. So it’s not a good idea to plan for an extra check because really the only advantage we’re going to have is that we’re going to get it early.
So anyone who falls under certain conditions will receive this new check. But that doesn’t mean that check is extra. We’re just going to get the money a little bit earlier. Still, any kind of perk should always be welcomed by all Americans, so having the check earlier can make a big difference in the economy for the month.
When does the July Supplemental Security Income check arrive?
The Supplemental Security Income check will arrive early in June. This means that retirees who have this benefit will be able to count on it a few days earlier. However, it is also true that not all Americans with SSI will be able to get their check sooner.
The Social Security Administration will send out this benefit on the immediately preceding business day on the 1st of July. This is because July 1st is a weekend. When a Supplemental Security Income payment day is a weekend or holiday, the Administration sends out a check earlier.
To be exact, the July SSI payment will be on June 30th, which is tomorrow. Even so, only beneficiaries who activate Direct Deposit can receive the money early. If we do not activate Direct Deposit, the money will arrive on July 3rd or 4th.
Other Social Security payments in July
Retirees who have an accepted benefit may receive a new benefit payment during July. This check is different from Supplemental Security Income, so the terms are different. Still, the issue of choosing Direct Deposit as a payment method also affects.
Here is the schedule of Social Security payments for July:
- July 3rd. Pre-1997 retirees.
- July 12th. Post-1997 retirees with birthdays between the 1st and 10th get paid on this day.
- July 19th. The Social Security Administration will send the retirement to beneficiaries born between the 11th and 20th on this day. It is also necessary to be retired after 1997.
- July 26th. Last July payment for retirees. This payment is for beneficiaries born between the 21st and 31st of the month with retirement after 1997.
Since the Administration does not send out Supplemental Security Income checks, retirees will only have a maximum of one check in July. This means that in the month of June retirees can receive three different checks.
