The month of July begins with impressive news for United States citizens with access to Medicare. This medical help has several parts and one of them will be expanded in a way that will help even more citizens with specific characteristics. If you need insulin as part of your day-to-day treatment, Medicare will make things easier for you starting July 1st.
This new measure will allow citizens to save a large amount of money per month. As a result, they will be able to spend that money on other important things in their lives. And it does not matter if the money comes from Social Security or not, since the conditions to obtain this help from Medicare are related to the part we have contracted.
In this case, if we have Medicare Part D contracted, we will be in a very favorable situation in just a few days. The new Medicare help will arrive on July 1st, which is this coming Saturday. Therefore, any United States citizens with Part D will start saving a great deal of money in the event that they need insulin.
What will the savings be with this new Medicare rule?
In all of Medicare, there is no doubt that Part D is very beneficial to the user. Thanks to everything related to Part D, many citizens barely pay any money for their medications. Especially if those drugs are absolutely necessary and recurrent, as is the case of insulin.
Starting July 1, if you take Part B-covered insulin, you’ll pay no more than $35 for a month’s supply of each insulin you take. This expands the Part D benefit that began Jan. 1, to include insulin covered by Medicare Part B, so now more people can save! https://t.co/KsXsP60Maq pic.twitter.com/Jm3219BXYZ
