In order to access this program we will need to meet certain financial requirements. Depending on the situation of each individual the requirements will be different. In total there are 4 sections of the Medicare Savings Programs. The general rule is that if your income is less than $20,000 a year, you will be able to access this help.
In the case of a couple, the annual income limit is $27,000. Therefore, if you meet these requirements, you may be able to access one of these programs. Check all the information through the Medicare website and contact the Administration to receive all the help you need.
Who is eligible for Medicare?
General Medicare assistance is available to All United States citizens. All they have to do is meet certain requirements. These requirements are mandatory, so we cannot avoid them.
On the one hand, the citizen must be at least 65 years old or have a disability. On the other hand, it is mandatory to have worked for at least a few years. The requirements are very similar to getting a Social Security benefit, but it is not mandatory to buy a benefit in order to have access to Medicare.
