Social Security Supplemental Security Income payments arrive to households in the United States once a month. That is the general rule, but there are times when they may arrive up to twice in the same 30 days. It all depends on how the calendar for the month itself is set up. Even so, receiving two Supplemental Security Income payments one month means that the next month that same citizen will not have this check.

Regardless of what day the Social Security Administration sends out this Supplemental Security Income payment, we must always watch out if we want to receive it on time. It is possible to have each of these checks on the same day that the Administration sends it. We just need to choose the right collection method and we will be able to enjoy these checks on time.

Since the next Supplemental Security Income payment is coming soon, there is still time to activate the appropriate cashing method. Otherwise, it may take a few more days for the money to reach our pocket. There’s still time, but don’t get caught off guard because you may get your check too late.

How do I get my Supplemental Security Income on time?

The first Supplemental Security Income payment for the month of June will be the 1st of the month. This is because this payment schedule is completely regular. There is no irregularity of any kind that would cause the schedule to change. So, as is customary in this type of benefits, the payment will be made in just 24 hours.

The Administration will send the money, but receiving it or not will depend on ourselves. In order to have it in time we have to activate Direct Deposit before the check is sent. That’s why we still have time, so check your payment method and activate Direct Deposit if you don’t have it activated.

Other Social Security payments in June 2023

This June 1st Supplemental Security Income payment is not the only payment the Administration will send out this month. In addition to this SSI check, June 30th is also marked on the calendar for the second SSI check. In order to receive it, we only need to have this benefit accepted.

In addition to these two checks, it is also possible to receive one more check. This other check will be the retirement check, either for disability or age. So to the two payments of up to $914 from Supplemental Security Income we have to add the usual benefit.

In total, a retiree could receive up to 3 different payments this month. The Administration will send 6 different checks to retirees, 2 of them from Supplemental Security Income and the rest from pensions.

The payment days for age and disability pensions are June 2, 14, 21 and 28. Each day a different group of retirees will receive their benefit. Having a check on one day or another will depend on the date of birth and year of retirement.
