The United States Social Security check of up to $4,555 per month will arrive in just a few hours. However, this payment is not for all beneficiaries who have a previously accepted benefit. The payment will only reach the group of retirees who are on the list.
To be on the list, two conditions must be met. If these conditions are not met, the Social Security check will not reach our pocket. These are the two essential requirements to obtain the payment:
- Having a post-1997 benefit. Any retiree with a check prior to this year will not be paid after the 3rd day of the month.
- Have a birthday between the 21st and 31st of the month. All other post-1997 retirees with birthdays on other dates will collect on different days.
Therefore, these are the only two conditions for receiving Social Security on the next payday. The Administration will send out the check on the 26th day of July 2023. This payment is the last payment of the month for retirees, so if you are not in this group you should have already collected your money earlier.
After this payment, the next check will be the August Supplemental Security Income. This check is not for all Americans. It is mandatory to meet certain requirements to get this check of up to $914 per month.
On the other hand, in August we will have new checks on the 3rd, 9th, 16th and 23rd days. These checks are Social Security retirement payments. Depending on the items listed above we will receive the payment on one day or the other.
