United States citizens who fall into a particular group will be able to enjoy a new United States Social Security check in just a few days. This group will be able to enjoy this payment as long as they meet all the requirements.
Retirees who do not meet all of the requirements will not be able to collect the payment. Even if we meet one of the requirements it will not be possible to collect the check of $1,841 on average. Even so, being within this group does not mean collecting the check in this amount.
We could get a bigger check or a smaller check. It all depends on your record, since Social Security payments are different for everyone. If you meet the requirements, you will get the payment, regardless of the amount you have accepted.
You could have the maximum of $4,555 in 2023 or the average Social Security check of $1,841 and still get it this week if you meet the requirements. Do you meet these established requirements?
WHICH AMERICANS CAN GET THE $1,814 PAYMENT?
United States citizens who want to get a check for $1,814 will have to meet two different requirements. Remember that this payment is actually from Social Security, so obviously we must be retired in order to collect it. However, just having Social Security is not enough.
In order to cash this check we must meet these two requirements:
- Have a Social Security benefit accepted after 1997.
- Have a birthday between the 1st and 10th of any month.
This is enough to be able to collect this week’s payment, which arrives on December 13th. Well, in reality it does not arrive on the same day for everyone, but the Administration sends the payment on that day.
Whether or not we get it on the same day of payment depends on whether we have activated the fastest collection method of all. If we have activated it, we will receive the payment immediately. If not, the payment will arrive in the following days.
HOW TO GET YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY PAYMENT IMMEDIATELY?
The Social Security Administration announces the schedule for sending payments. But that does not mean that payments will arrive on the same day they are mailed. In order to get them instantly, you need to activate Direct Deposit. This payment method is the fastest of all and will make the payment arrive without having to wait a day.
If we do not activate this, the payment could take up to 3 days to appear. As there is usually a weekend in between, it is common for the payment to take a few days longer. What is certain is that we will get the payment, either sooner or later.
And remember that December 13th is the payment for all retirees who meet the above requirements, regardless of the type of pension. The type of retirement does not matter in order to determine the day of payment, since Social Security does not make distinctions in this regard.
