One of the great advantages of receiving a monthly Social Security check in any of the United States is that we can know well in advance the exact day we will receive it. The calendar showing the days of Social Security payments is always posted early so that retirees can know the paydays.

So if you are waiting for an Early Retirement Age Benefit check you should know that you will only need to meet one requirement to have it in the next few days. That requirement is to have your birthday between the 1st and 10th of the month. This is a fairly easy requirement, so retirees do not need to do anything else to collect their Social Security money.

However, if your birthday is not between those days there is nothing to worry about. Any retiree with an accepted benefit will receive their payment during the days of February. If it’s not next Wednesday the 8th, Social Security will send out a check on February 15th or 22nd. Just keep an eye on the calendar for the exact date.

Early Retirement Age payment during February 2023

Throughout the month of February, Social Security sends checks to Early Retirement Age beneficiaries. So if you have this type of retirement, you just have to check the date of your birthday, as we have already mentioned, to know the exact day of the payment.

Therefore, next February 8 will be the payment for retirees born between the 1st and 10th of the month. In addition to this payment, on the 15th there will also be another payment for pensioners with birthdays between the 11th and 20th. Finally, Social Security will pay the check for retirees on February 22nd to pensioners born between the 21st and 31st of the month.

Other Social Security payments

Retirees most often wonder if only pensioners with an Early Retirement Age cheque collect their Social Security on February 8, 15 and 22. This is not the case, as any retiree with any pension will cash their check on one of these days.

In addition to this, there is also something very important to keep in mind. It does not matter the type of benefit, of course, but it does not matter the month of birth either. So any retiree, regardless of whether it’s survivor retirement, disability or age, will collect their check based on the day of their birthday. And the month or year of birth doesn’t really matter, just the exact day of the month.

Therefore, it is easy to follow the calendar just by knowing the day of the month on which a Social Security beneficiary was born. These three groups always collect on the second, third or fourth Wednesday of the month, so you can already get an idea of what day you will collect throughout 2023.
