Within the Social Security Administration‘s payment schedule, June disability checks have a slight variation in the day they are mailed. However, United States citizens have nothing to worry about, as they will still receive their check this month. However, some of them may receive it a little later than usual.
In order to get one of the Social Security disability payments on time, several conditions must be met. These conditions are very easy to follow and any citizen who meets them will get their check on time. Otherwise, you may receive your benefit a little later than usual, especially in the month of June, as previously discussed.
This is due to the timing of the payments. Disability benefit checks are sent out on 4 different days of the month and within those days we find that in June there is a slight irregularity. Usually, the second Wednesday of the month is the second week, but that doesn’t happen this month. And that is why many citizens may have check later than they should.
Which group will receive the disability benefit on time?
The group that will receive the Social Security disability benefit on time will be the group that has the fastest collection method activated. If not, they will still get their check, but a little later. Here are the next benefit check mailing days:
- June 14th.
- June 21st.
- June 28th.
The first of these days is for retirees with birthdays between the 1st and 10th. The second of these mailings is for beneficiaries born between the 11th and 20th of the month. Finally, the third of these days is for retirees with birthdays between the 21st and 31st of the month. In addition to that, there is another requirement, and that is that in order to receive payment on these days disability beneficiaries must have had their benefit since after 1997.
In order to receive the check on time, it is mandatory to activate Direct Deposit. Without this collection method, the last payment of the month, the 28th day, could arrive as late as July. So be sure to activate this payment method in order to receive all payments from the Administration on time.
If you also receive your Supplemental Security Income check, it is best to activate Direct Deposit. We will receive an extra check for this benefit in June. But if we do not have this check cashing method activated, we will not be able to receive it on time.
