While it is true that disability checks come to United States households every month, the day you receive them depends on several factors. The first of these factors is the year of retirement. The other factor is the day of birth. So it is possible to find out on what day we will have our benefit available just by knowing these facts.
In addition to that, the method of payment must also be taken into account. Choosing one collection method or the other will cause us to receive our Social Security disability check sooner or later. This can make a difference, as many retirees receive payment even 3 days later than the rest who have the faster collection method activated.
If we combine all of the above information we can know very accurately when we will receive the new check. This will allow us to have an optimal organization of the household economy each month.
Knowing every month the day of the collection of the disability benefit money is a blessing. With this information, we will not have problems paying our bills and making our purchases.
Which disability beneficiaries receive the next check?
As we discussed earlier, retirees born between the 11th and 20th of the month could receive the new Social Security check. One thing to watch out for, though, is that there is a separate requirement. It is not enough to have the birthday between those days, and it is mandatory to pass one more filter.
This filter is none other than the year of retirement. If our retirement is after 1997 and the birthday is between those days, the next disability payment is for us. On the other hand, if our retirement check is prior to 1997, the payment will not arrive on the next day.
What’s more, the payment for pre-1997 retirees was sent out last July 3rd. So if your benefit is prior to that year you should check to make sure there are no delays with your check.
Complete Social Security Schedule for July 2023
July payments are just as important as all other months. What’s more, they may become more important because of the summer vacation arrangements for many disability retirees.
For that reason, let’s look at the full schedule, even if some payments have already been sent in the past.
- July 3rd. Payment for beneficiaries with a disability retirement prior to 1997.
- July 12th. This payment is for post-1997 retirees with birthdays between the 1st and 10th of the month.
- July 19th. Next Social Security payment. In addition to having the benefit after 1997, it is necessary to have a birthday between the 11th and 20th of the month.
- July 26th. Last payment in July for disability beneficiaries. Any citizen whose birthday is between the 21st and 31st of the month and who has been receiving benefits since after 1997 can receive this check.
If we add to this the Direct Deposit collection method, we can know very accurately on which day we will receive the check. This is because this cashing method is instantaneous. So we will not have to wait even one day to receive our disability benefit.
