Having a new retirement payment is something that can fix the financial lives of thousands of United States households, and the Disability check falls into this category. However, it is true that we find, at times, that the payment may be insufficient due to annual inflation.

Considering that we don’t yet have an exact figure on the increase in Social Security Disability payments with COLA 2025 we can only make assumptions. But it is true that The Senior Citizens League has some forecasts in this regard that are usually very accurate. And for that reason we can be almost certain that we will have a 2.5% increase in Social Security checks in 2025 thanks to the COLA.
This increase will mean that the maximum disability checks will increase by about $95. Considering that this year’s 2024 maximum check is $3,822, in 2025 the payment would go beyond $3,900.

Thanks to this COLA the new maximum SSDI check would be closer than ever to $4,000 per month. In any case, those Americans who do not have the maximum SSDI will also be able to get the extra money from the COLA, only that the increase will not be of those characteristics, but it will be a little less.
In addition, all other retirees will also get the COLA in the check: age pensioners, widow(er) beneficiaries and any other type of benefit. Even Supplemental Security Income recipients, whether Disability or not, will be able to enjoy this increase.
