In the world of numismatics always brings some surprises. Among them is the 1980 10-cent coin, which was minted by the Philadelphia Mint. It is known as the Roosevelt Dime, which first appeared in 1946 and is considered a historic piece. It was made to honor the late President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Many years later, it became an attraction for collectors in the United States.   

As is known, Franklin Roosevelt was part of the Democratic Party and won four consecutive presidential elections, becoming a central figure in the world events of the first half of the 20th century. He is also the longest-serving president in U.S. history: 12 years. 

How much are the Roosevelt Dime 1980 coins worth?   

There are several models of the Roosevelt Dime 1980. According to the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS), the estimated prices for this coin are as follows:    

  • MS-60: up to U$D 4   
  • MS-62: up to U$D 4   
  • MS-63: up to U$D 5   
  • MS-64: up to U$D 6   
  • MS-65: between U$D 7 and U$D 8   
  • MS-66: between U$D 15 and U$D 18   
  • MS-67: between U$D 32 and U$D 150   
  • MS-68: up to U$D 1 100   

It is worth mentioning that the MS-60 rating represents a normal circulation condition and MS-68 is almost perfect.
