The new August Disability benefit payments have upcoming dates that will be arriving very soon. If you have a United States Social Security benefit you may get it before the end of August. On top of that, there is an extra payment that may arrive during the month. Depending on the group of retirees to which you belong, you may get this payment earlier or later.
What is certain is that before the end of August we will be able to get these payments. So be sure to check everything related to the day of your benefit collection in order to plan your finances as efficiently as possible. Some of the Disability checks have already been sent out by the Social Security Administration. This means that if you are eligible for groups 1 and 2, you may already have a check in your checking account.
Either way, the important thing is to keep track of all the information on Social Security payments for both Disability and other types of benefits. So pay attention to the payment schedule so you can keep everything under control. This is especially important for beneficiaries who have no other source of income, which is very common for this group of United States citizens.
Upcoming Social Security Disability payments for August
Before the end of August, the Social Security Administration will send up to two more Social Security Disability retirement payments. It will also send an extra check for a specific group of citizens. If we meet the requirements, we will have the payment of these benefits in our checking account. If not, we will have to look at all the requirements for all the payments to determine when we will collect the check.
The remaining days in August when the Social Security Administration will pay the new checks are:
- August 21st.
- August 28th.
- August 30th.
While the August 21st and August 28th payments are only for United States citizens with a retirement benefit, whether for Disability or another reason, the August 30th payment is for another group entirely. With this in mind, let’s look at requirements and maximum checks.
On August 21st, post-May 1997 retirees with birthdays between the 11th and 20th of any month will get their Disability benefit. The 28th payment is for post-May 1997 retirees with birthdays between the 21st and 31st of any month. The maximum SSDI checks in these cases are $3,822.
The August 30th payment will be only for those Supplemental Security Income recipients. This benefit is only for the neediest United States citizens, so not just any citizen with a Disability payment can apply for this extra payment. The maximum check is $291 and is actually a payment in advance of the September 2024 payment schedule.
