One of the great advantages of the collection of a check for retirement from the United States Social Security, whether for disability or for another type of benefit, is knowing when we will be able to get our monthly payment. In the case of March, the administration can still send one more check, although it is mandatory to meet certain conditions.
If we do not meet these conditions we will not be able to get the payment, so we have to be very attentive to everything related to the new Disability payment. If we do not have this payment accepted we will not be able to receive it, but having it accepted is not the only requirement to be able to get it.
But even though we might not get this check because we don’t meet the requirements, there’s nothing to worry about. The payment schedule for the month of April is coming up soon, and in that month Social Security will again pay Disability Retirement checks to eligible beneficiaries.
How to receive the Disability payment in 24 hours?
One of the reasons why Social Security Disability payments reach retirees on different days of the month is so that the Administration can stagger the payments. Sending retirement checks out in a staggered fashion means fewer delays and complications.
By simply knowing which group of pensioners we belong to, we will be able to find out the specific day on which we will get the check each month. On the 26th of March, the Social Security Administration will send out the new payments and we only have to meet two requirements:
- Have your birthday between the 21st and 31st of any month.
- Have had your benefit accepted since after May 1997.
To that we must add something very important in order to have the check on the same day it is sent, and that is to choose the appropriate collection method. If we have activated Direct Deposit, the retirement payment arrives on the same day regardless of the type of retirement we have.
Even if we have accepted the retirement payment and the check is sent on 26th March, we will not have access to the check on the day of shipment without Direct Deposit. But this method of collection is not really compulsory, although it is advisable in order to receive the benefit as soon as possible.
Remember that the payment on 26th March will be the last one of the month, so after that day we will have to wait until April to get the new benefit, although it is true that the first of the April payments will be sent on the 3rd, just after the month has started.
