In previous years, the IRS sent a large number of checks to citizens of the United States who were eligible to receive a Tax Refund. However, many of the beneficiaries who could receive one of these Refunds did not do everything necessary to get it, which means that they have not yet received it.
But if you are eligible, there is still time to get one of these IRS payments, so it is advisable to check the eligibility criteria as soon as possible and find out what we need to do to be able to get a Tax Refund in the coming weeks.
If we are not eligible, we will not be able to receive this specific payment, but that does not mean that we will not receive a Tax Refund from the 2024 Tax Return. The current Tax Season is still open and the $1 billion refunds are a separate payment that the IRS makes with respect to previous campaigns to help Americans in need.
Until when can I request the Refund from the IRS?
The deadline to claim this refund will be April 15th, 2025. After that day we will not be able to request the refund, so we will lose the right to this extra stimulus check from the IRS. However, we still have plenty of time to get the payment and meet all the requirements to obtain it.

In order to receive one of these IRS payments, we have to comply with all tax-related obligations from previous years. Only in this way will we get a stimulus check for up to $1,400. Also, if you are eligible, you won’t have to do anything else, so the payment will go directly to your checking account.
Is this IRS Refund compatible with Social Security?
Both the Social Security payment and this IRS Refund can be received by our bank in the same month without any problems. Both payments are compatible as long as we meet all the established requirements to obtain them. So be sure to check all the conditions carefully and contact the IRS if you have any questions.
So, with these payments already received, we will only be able to enjoy a little extra money for our usual expenses. And not only that, but the IRS is sending a large number of Tax Refund 2025 to citizens, so we might as well get one of these other checks to have a slightly higher standard of living at this time of the month.
