Despite the fact that we are in the last month of the year and that the calendar for any kind of payments in the United States is about to end, there are still checks that the IRS can send to citizens. And the fact is that stimulus checks, even though they are not officially called that, can arrive at any time of the year.
If we are expecting a Tax Refund from the IRS we could get this payment in the next few weeks. Especially if we take into account that states send out these stimulus checks individually and that some citizens have not yet cashed them even though they are available.
Those Americans who are expecting to get one of these payments should know that they could be coming very soon. Having one of these payments implies fulfilling several requirements beforehand, so if we do not meet them we could have some problems when it comes to collecting them.
But if we meet the requirements it is possible that one of the states on the list may be able to send the check. So keep an eye on these states, because if you live in one of them you could have a stimulus check from the IRS before the end of the year.
WHICH STATES ARE SENDING OUT 4TH STIMULUS CHECKS BEFORE 2024?
There are several states that are still sending out stimulus checks to their citizens. These stimulus checks are actually a Tax Return, but it is common for citizens to call these payments that to understand each other.
The first of the requirements we must meet is to live or have lived within the particular state. The other requirement is to have paid the previous years’ taxes on time. If we do not pay the taxes it will be impossible to get one of these extra checks.
Also, we must have paid all taxes, including this year’s taxes. This will give us more options to get one of these extra payments from the IRS in some of the States that are still sending them.
These are the States that as of today are still sending stimulus checks to Americans:
- Alabama
- Alaska
- Montana
- New Mexico
- Washington
However, living in one of these states and having paid all the taxes does not mean we will get one of the stimulus checks. But if we are eligible to get it in the next few weeks it will be in our pocket.
Remember to check your mailbox, as sometimes we can get the Tax Refund check via snail mail. If you have Direct Deposit activated, the stimulus check money will arrive directly to your bank account.
