MILLIONS of Americans can apply for energy rebates ranging from $300 to $1,700. but to do so, you must meet the following requirements.
A major utility is offering customers significant rebates on essential home energy upgrades.
Duke Energy Florida has announced rebates and customers must complete a free home energy check to qualify.
The check details improving customer needs in the home, as well as several different rebates that are available after these upgrades.
For single-family homes, several incentives include:
- Up to $800 for attic insulation
- Up to $300 for replacement of a high-efficiency heating, ventilation and air conditioning system
- Up to $400 for energy-efficient windows

Other Payments: GBI in California
Long Beach, California, also sent guaranteed rent participants their first batch of $500 in monthly payments for one year.
The city received 2,800 applications, but approved only 250 families through a lottery.
An important part of the eligibility criteria is income, which must be below 100% of the federal poverty line.
