United States citizens who are still waiting for a SNAP Food Stamp payment could get it during the remaining days of this week. Some states still have time on the calendar to pay SNAP checks.
Because each State sends out payments on different days, recipients may get paid at different times of the month. Unlike Social Security checks, for which the calendar is set by the federal government, Food Stamps SNAP checks are set on a state-by-state basis.
This means that some states have sent all payments on September 13th but others have not yet sent payments. Still, it is true that even states that close checks on the last day of the month have already paid a large portion of these benefits.
To make sure whether or not we have gotten this money the best thing to do is to check the EBT card. This is the only 100% reliable method that will allow us to know whether or not the SNAP money is already available to us.
STATES THAT STILL SEND OUT SNAP FOOD STAMPS IN SEPTEMBER
Although these states can still send the checks, some of them have already sent them. As we have already mentioned, just by checking the EBT card we are going to find out if we have actually gotten the money or not.
The moment we have the SNAP Food Stamps available we can use the money on whatever we want to buy food. That is the ultimate goal of this benefit.
These are the States that can still send this check in September 2023 along with the cutoff days to send them:
- Alabama: September 4-23
- Delaware: September 2-23
- Florida: September 1 to 28
- Georgia: September 5-23
- Illinois: September 1 – 10 and prior cases September 1 – 20
- Indiana: September 5 – 23
- Louisiana: September 1 – 23
- Maryland: September 4 – 23

If your state is not on this list, it means that you have already sent your SNAP Food Stamp payment. If you have not received the money, you should claim payment as soon as possible, although these checks are usually never late.
