Next week’s payments will be only for a group of retirees. These citizens will receive a Social Security check exclusively if they applied for the benefit before 1997. Besides that, there is no other requirement to be able to collect this day’s check.
To be exact, the Administration will send the check on the 3rd day of July. But receiving it or not on the same day will depend on the collection method we have activated. If we receive the retirement payments through bank account deposit, the money can take up to 3 days to arrive. Although there are times when it may take a little longer.

July 12th
Retirees born between the 1st and 10th of the month will be able to collect their Social Security benefit on this day in July. No other requirements need to be met other than this and the post-1997 benefit.
July 19th
This group includes retirees with birthdays between the 11th and 20th of the month. Retirees born between these days will receive their retirement benefit on the 19th of July.
July 26th
Last day of Social Security in July. Only retirees who received their benefit after 1997 and have a birthday between the 21st and 31st can collect in this month.
It is important to keep in mind that you do not have to be born in the month of the payment to receive the payment. That is, retirees born in July can collect Social Security checks for July, September and any other month.
