- January 10. Day on which retirees born between the 1st and 10th of the month are paid.

How to cash the disability check quickly?
When it comes to cashing the Social Security disability benefit check we have two options.
- Direct deposit.
- Bank account deposit.
The second is a little slower than the first method. To receive the Social Security check as quickly as possible, you must have Direct Deposit activated. This method is immediate, so any Social Security check will reach our pocket instantly.
If we have a bank account, we can receive the check in the same way, but it can take up to 3 days to arrive. You can choose the method you like the most, since you will receive the check on the established day.
Can we collect disability and retirement pensions?
The Social Security grants up to 2 different checks to Social Security users. On the one hand, we have the disability check and, on the other hand, the retirement check due to age. Both checks are not compatible in most cases, since they are actually the same benefit.
Thus, if we have a disability benefit, we can apply for the retirement benefit when we reach the age of 62. However, our monthly check may not increase. We must check all the details beforehand, since if we apply for one we will cancel the other.
