Receiving two Supplemental Security Income checks is always good news for U.S. beneficiaries who are waiting for one of these benefits.
We can now know the exact day that the Social Security Administration will send a check to all recipients who have been accepted for Supplemental Security Income.
In order to receive one of these Supplemental Security Income checks, we will need to apply for the benefit in advance. If we do not apply, Social Security will not be able to send us a check. The maximum benefit amount is $914, but this does not mean that all recipients will get the same payment every time.

When does Social Security send this $914 check?
The second of these checks for the month of June arrived in the pockets of thousands of Social Security beneficiaries on the 1st of the month. This happened only if the user has Direct Deposit activated. What is certain is that the check was sent by the Administration on that day. When the user will receive the check will always depend on their method of payment.
In addition to Direct Deposit, retirees can receive checks by bank deposit. This method of payment is also secure, but can take up to 3 days to arrive. So all users who want to receive cheque as soon as possible should activate Direct Deposit.
This is the first of two Supplemental Security Income checks that Social Security sends out in June 2023. So you know that in addition to this payment you will receive another payment at the end of the month. These two payments will be the same amount, since they are the same exact benefit.
Other SSA payments in June
During the months of June, the Social Security Administration will send different checks to retirees and users with disabilities. These are the days on which the Administration will pay its users:
- June 1st. SSI payment for the month of June.
- June 14th. The Social Security Administration sends retirement check to users born between the 1st and 10th of the month.
- June 21st. Retirees with birthdays between the 11th and 20th of the month receive their benefits on this day.
- June 28th. Pension checks arrive to retirees born between the 21st and 31st of the month.
- June 30. The April Supplemental Security Income check arrives on this day.
While it is true that to receive a retirement check the birthday requirement is mandatory, for SSI it is not.
The Social Security Administration sends SSI checks to all retirees equally, regardless of their date of birth. So you won’t need to check the calendar to find out which group you belong to. If you already have SSI accepted, it will be in your pocket next payment, regardless of your date of birth or the reason for the benefit.
