In the third week of August we will be able to access many different checks. Some of these retirement payments are exclusive to a specific group. But other payments such as SNAP Food Stamps will reach households across the United States depending on where the recipient resides.
Find out if you can get one of these benefits just by checking the established requirements. There are only a few conditions to consider, so it’s a good idea to take a look so you can mark your calendar for the day of the retirement payment collection.
Who can collect retirement benefits in the next week of August?
The third week of August will be a key week for many United States retirees. In this week, citizens who have a benefit and belong to retiree group 2 will be able to get one of the Social Security checks. On the other hand, the SSI payment will not arrive again until the end of August. To be more precise, we will not have access to one of these new checks until the 30th of the month.
On the other hand, it is good to remember that both the age retirement payments and the SSDI and VA arrive on the same day. What we must keep in mind for this is the requirements to be part of group 2 retirees. These are the requirements:
- Have a retirement benefit of any kind since after May 1997.
- Have a birthday between the 1st and 10th of any month.
And there is no other separate requirement for the Social Security Administration to pay us this benefit on this day. Therefore, if we meet both conditions, we will be able to enjoy the check on August 14st. All other beneficiaries will be able to collect the payment on a different day, but not on this specific day.
Other Retirement Payments and SNAP Food Stamps
In addition to these Social Security payments, different states may send out SNAP Food Stamps checks. This other benefit follows a different schedule, as each state sends the money to the beneficiaries’ EBT card on different days.
