Whether you like to buy products at Walmart or at Dollar Tree, it is difficult to agree on the best choices with other people. However, there is no one better than a fully dedicated mother to know the best prices and quality in each supermarket. Tight budget managing is not easy, but when you have no other option be sure you will certainly make the right decisions by learning from experience.
This is the case of Carly, the Mommy On Purpose blogger. As she describes herself in her blog, she is a full-time mom that has to stay at home. Thus, that is why she decided to take up this occupation to earn some money while at home looking after her kids. According to the U.S. Sun, there are nine Dollar Tree products she avoids.
Where is best to buy toys, Walmart or Dollar Tree?
Now that spring is coming soon parents have to buy lots of birthday presents, either for their kids or friends’ kids. Apparently, according to her the toys she bought at Dollar Tree broke faster. It could be quite disappointing for kids and for parents who paid for it. Plastic toys seem to be the worst ones though she said to the U.S. Sun.
When you buy toys, you may need batteries, They are not a great choice at Dollar Tree either since they run out much faster than others. Besides, those chocaholics need to know that she also found chocolate bars are cheaper in other places. So, check Walmart for instance to see if they have a lower price.
What about pasta and soup cans?
Many American kids love eating pasta, so it is also good to know where it is cheaper. Carly also said that despite the fact that it is not so expensive at Dollar Tree, other store brands might be cheaper. For instance those at Aldi or Walmart. Be aware of the fact that this is where she lives, your area may have different prices due to transport expenses.
Walmart’s soup cans seem to be much cheaper too, so she avoids getting them at Dollar Tree. Apart from food, things like glow sticks at Dollar Tree are not worth getting them there. Rather than at Walmart, she buys them online on Amazon. Finally, she does not buy Dollar Tree pregnancy tests or skincare products.
