United States Social Security users who collect a disability benefit will receive their pension of up to $3,345 in the next few days. It is true that not all disability retirees will get the money this week, as Social Security will send it to only one group of pensioners. This group is made up of both age and disability retirees. However, they have to meet a specific requirement to be able to collect their benefit this day. If this requirement is not met, the pensioner will receive the money from Social Security on a different day.
Since this is the second to last payment of the month, as of today all retirees born before November 11 should have their benefit money. The Social Security Administration sent benefit money to retirees born between the 1st and 10th of the month on Nov. 9. Now it is the turn of retirees born between the 11th and 20th. This group of pensioners will receive their retirement money next Wednesday, November 16th. And, as we have already commented previously, it does not matter if your benefit is for disability or retirement. Both payments are made equally on the same day.
The fundamental requirement to be able to collect these payments is always the day of the birthday. Being born on one day of the month or another influences the configuration of the calendar. In addition, Social Security always sends the payments in such a way that there are no delays. Therefore, the calendar days are always the same to avoid confusion. The second, third and fourth Wednesdays are the key days for Social Security payments, as these are the days on which the SSA sends checks.
Who receives the Social Security payment?
As we discussed earlier, anyone who has an accepted benefit can receive the next Social Security payment. There are, in this case, two fundamental requirements:
- Have an accepted benefit. It does not matter if your Social Security is for disability or retirement age. If you have an accepted benefit, you will receive it on the day of your turn.
- Have a birthday between your 11th and 20th birthday. The next Social Security payment requires you to be born between the 11th and 20th of the month. But you do not have to be born in November. Any month of the year is valid.
And remember something very important, the method of payment. If you use Direct Deposit you can have the money immediately in your pocket. However, you can also use your regular bank account for this purpose.
