The first requirement for receiving the next payment is that you must have applied for benefits after 1997. When it comes to arranging payments, there are two large groups that can then be divided into smaller groups. The first of these groups is pre-1997 and post-1997 retirees.
Americans with a pension from before 1997 receive their benefit on the 3rd day of the month. Therefore, this group has already cashed their check in the month of April 2023. However, to get the next of the payments it is mandatory to have retired after 1997.
That is the first of the requirements, but not the only one. Within the post-1997 retirees, there are three different groups of pensioners. And it does not matter the type of pension, such as disability or age. What is important in these cases is the date of the birthday.
So all beneficiaries with a retirement requested after 1997 and born between the 1st and 10th of the month will get the next disability check. All other retirees will have to wait for the next Social Security payment.
My birthday is not 1-10, when will I get Social Security?
Beneficiaries who do not have their birthday between the days mentioned above, will receive their benefit without any problems. Although all of them will have to wait for the following payment days. Then, any citizen with a disability benefit will be able to collect on the 19th or 26th of April.
On the first of these days, beneficiaries born between the 11th and 20th of the month will receive their payment. The second payment is for users with disabilities who have a birthday between the 21st and 31st of any month.
