The schedule of Disability payments for United States Social Security beneficiaries is about to begin for the month of May. In addition, Social Security Disability beneficiaries could, if eligible, get an extra check before the month is over.
Of course, each of the Disability retirement payments has its own requirements. So if you don’t meet certain requirements, you won’t be able to get next week’s money, which will be the first of all the retirement checks for the month of May.
How to get the first week’s Disability payment in May?
In the month of May we will encounter up to 6 different checks. The Social Security Administration will send different checks to different groups. If we are eligible, we could get up to 3 of those 6 checks. So we must be very attentive to this payment schedule.
If we take into account the schedule of the Disability payments, the next of the checks will be on the 3rd of May, that is, in the next week. In order to receive this benefit it is only necessary to comply with one mandatory requirement.
This requirement is to have your check accepted before May 1997. If your check is within these characteristics, you will be able to get payment on that day. This will only be the case if you have Direct Deposit activated. If you do not have Direct Deposit but meet the other requirement, the money will appear a few days later.
Two Supplemental Security Income payments for Disability Beneficiaries in May
Next May, Disability beneficiaries may have two different Supplemental Security Income checks. This is because there is a slight irregularity in the June calendar.
These additional checks usually arrive on the 1st of each month, but June 1st is a weekend. So the Administration will not send check on this day, but on the immediately preceding business day.
Therefore, within the month of May we could get these checks on the 1st and 31st of the month. So you can collect both benefits on the same day of mailing if you have Direct Deposit activated. This is the only way we will get two extra checks to supplement our monthly Disability payment.
