In just a few hours thousands of Americans will be able to enjoy a new payment from the Social Security Administration. However, this new payment is not for all United States citizens who have an accepted benefit. In order to receive this week’s check, several requirements must be met. If we do not meet these requirements we will never be able to get this check of up to $4,555.
Still, there is no cause for concern. If we actually have an accepted Social Security benefit, the check will arrive throughout the month. The only difference is that it will come in the next few weeks instead of this one. Remember that the Social Security payment schedule is divided into four different days for retirees in different groups.
Each new Social Security group receives their retirement check on a different day. Retirees who receive a check on one day cannot receive it on a different day. Each retiree, with few exceptions, receives one retirement check per month. Supplemental Security Income may be added to that payment, but that is another benefit entirely.
Who does not receive the next Social Security?
In the month of July 2023 the schedule with respect to retirement payments is totally regular. This means that the Social Security Administration follows the established schedule with four days of payments on four different days. The first of these payments is on July 3rd and is only for a group of retirees.
Only beneficiaries who have had their retirement since before 1997 can receive this check. Therefore, any beneficiary who has a benefit after this year will not be able to receive the money on July 3rd.
But the rest of the retirees will collect their check in the following weeks. We just need to know the requirements and when each group of beneficiaries will collect.
Other July 2023 Social Security retirement payments
The other retirees who have their benefit will collect on the next Wednesdays of the month. So if your Social Security retirement is after 1997 you should be aware of the following dates.
July 12, 2023
This check will hit the pockets of Americans with birthdays between the 1st and 10th of the month. Only retirees who meet these requirements will be eligible for payment on this day.
July 19, 2023
This is the second group of these retirees. In order to receive the payment on July 19, 2023, it is necessary to have been born between the 11th and 20th of the month. In addition, it is also mandatory to have applied for Social Security after 1997.
July 26, 2023
Last payment of the month. Exclusive check for retirees born between the 21st and 31st of the month. Citizens who have their birthday between these dates will be able to collect their retirement on this day.
In order to receive Social Security on these days it is not mandatory to be born in the month of July. It is only necessary to have been born between the established days, regardless of the month.
Likewise, the group of retirees prior to 1997 receive their payment on the 3rd day of July regardless of their birthday. Only the date of retirement is sufficient to belong to this group and receive Social Security on that day.
