In the United States, medical services are often very expensive for most families who do not have Medicare. This financial help from the government gives many retirees and other citizens direct access to medical services. There is no doubt that Medicare makes it possible for many Americans to get medical help that would otherwise be impossible. In addition, there are many Americans who do not apply for all of the benefits available.

If we take into account that Medicare can defray the payment of most of the medical expenses for retirees, we can say that it is one of the greatest social advantages. Even so, to this we must add that it is not only for retirees by age, since another group of Americans can ask for this medical help. However, it is usual to have only two of the active parts, Part A and Part B, since these are the parts for which we do not have to pay.

But this does not mean that we have to pay for the other parts of Medicare. In addition to Part A and Part B, we can also get Part D for free if we meet certain requirements. And a large part of Americans meet these requirements without knowing it, so they can get the “extra help” and pay 0 dollars for Part D.

In addition to that, it is also possible not only to pay $0 for Part D and get its benefits, but to pay a maximum of dollars per month to get all the necessary drugs. The Medicare helps are really useful and we should keep them in mind for our day to day life.

How to get Medicare “extra help”?

In order to obtain the “extra help” for Medicare medical services, we will have to meet certain requirements. These requirements are related to the financial scope of each of the citizens of the United States. So if you are thinking about whether or not you can apply for this help you should check that you meet one of these requirements.

If you are in one of these three groups of citizens, you may be able to get this extra help. This means that you will not have to pay for most drugs, and you will not have to pay Medicare Part D, since it will be included in what you have already contracted for.

Who can get this medical help?

To get Medicare you will have to meet one of two main requirements. It does not matter which one you meet, as they are both at the same level. The first one is to be at least 65 years old. The other one of the requirements is to have some type of disability.

This means that it doesn’t matter if you are 65 or have a disability, since both options are valid for applying for Medicare. It is not mandatory to receive Social Security at the same time, since we can have this medical help without the need for a pensioner’s check.

At the moment we start receiving this type of help we will receive Part A and the free Part B. But they are not the only ones. There is also Medicare Advantage and Part D. The latter is related to drugs and we could get it for free if we meet the above mentioned requirements.
