When a stimulus check arrives at a United States address, it is always good news. Receiving extra money to use for whatever we want is very nice. And in this case we are talking about the IRS sending one of these stimulus checks to thousands of American households.

And in order to be able to order one of these checks it is necessary to do so as soon as possible. If we are thinking that we are eligible to request this stimulus check we should do it. The requirements to be able to apply for this payment are very specific so it is easy to guess if we will be able to have it in our pocket.

On top of that, the date to be able to apply for it will run out very soon. So we should not leave it too late. If we don’t apply in time, the IRS will not send us our stimulus check.

IRS commissioner Danny Werfel himself recently said about this stimulus check that “Many people may have overlooked filing a 2019 tax return due to the pandemic. We don’t want people to miss their window to receive their refund,”

Who can apply for this stimulus check?

In order to apply for one of these stimulus checks, it is mandatory to have paid your 2019 taxes. In addition to that, it is also good to have your 2020 taxes paid. This will give us more security to apply for the check to the IRS.

The documents we need in order to apply for this new extra payment is everything related to our taxes. At the end of the day, this refund is actually no unclaimed refund from the 2019 tax year.

Therefore, there is still time to be able to apply for the check. The deadline will be July 17. This means that we have time to do it, but we should not let many days go by.

If we need any extra documents or information about applying for this check we can contact the IRS and they will help us.
