Although the schedule of Social Security payments makes the United States beneficiaries can control their money to perfection sometimes we come across irregularities that completely change our organization.

While this is true, we must also keep in mind that not all citizens with a Social Security benefit can get this extra check. In order to get this money we must meet certain mandatory requirements. But in the case of meeting them, it is possible to get the payment.
WHO CAN GET THE BONUS TRACK OF SOCIAL SECURITY MONEY IN DECEMBER?
In order to be eligible to get the money we must take into account several requirements. If we do not meet these requirements we could still get the payment, but not in December, we will have to wait until January to enjoy this extra benefit.
Americans who want this money should keep in mind that:
- It is mandatory to have Supplemental Security Income accepted beforehand.
- We must activate Direct Deposit, since the Social Security benefit money appears automatically with this collection method.
With these two requirements we will get this extra payment at the end of December. With this in mind, we therefore find that on the 1st of January we will see a payment of up to $914 of Supplemental Security Income and on the 29th of December we will see this extra payment with even a little more money.
WHY WILL THE EXTRA SUPPLEMENTAL SECURITY INCOME BE HIGHER?
The COLA increase that the United States Government announced last October will begin to take effect in 2024. In other words, the first of the 2024 payments will include an extra 3.2% that will help Americans have a little more money to deal with inflation.
Well, because of this COLA in the December 2023 extra check we will find ourselves with a larger payment. This is because this check is actually the first of next year’s January Supplemental Security Income payments.
For that reason, the money in this benefit is larger. The payment will be a maximum of $943 for each beneficiary. So if you have a maximum check you will be able to reach that amount on the next 29th day. And remember that without Direct Deposit you cannot get check in the month of December but you will be able to get it in the following days.
