Can I Draw Social Security at 62 and Still Work Full Time?

What do you do if Social Security tells you to pay back benefits you have already received?

62 years-old seniors are not getting next SSI check

The Social Security Administration’s payment schedule in the United States provides a wealth of information for your beneficiaries. Knowing exactly when seniors and people with disabilities collect their benefits makes it easier for families to maintain their finances. And that’s why the Social Security Administration announces well in advance the days on which it will send out payments. It is important to remember that these are the days on which the SSA sends the money, not the days on which the beneficiaries receive the payment. In order to receive it immediately, it is mandatory to have Direct Deposit activated. Otherwise, it may take up to 3 days for the money to reach your bank account.

The first of these payments from Social Security in November belongs to the Supplemental Security Income. This payment averages $604 each check. This does not mean that all people receive that amount of money, but the average of all checks is that amount. Therefore, some recipients get more money and some recipients get less money. SSI depends on the current income of the senior or person with a disability, which is why the final amount can vary so much from one recipient to another.

All Social Security Supplemental Security Income recipients will receive this payment on the 1st. Well, not all will receive it, only those who have activated Direct Deposit. The rest must wait up to 3 days before receiving the money. It all depends on the bank and other factors external to SSA. The important thing is that SSA always sends the payments on time, but that does not mean that the beneficiaries will receive them immediately.
