The list of beneficiaries who receive Social Security checks changes each payday. This means that retirees in the United States have to know the calendar to be able to organize their finances every month. However, it is a very easy list to know and we only need to have one personal piece of information to be able to know on which day we will collect Social Security.
In just a few days, the Administration will be sending out a new check to retirees who are 65 years old. So if you are that age and have an accepted Social Security benefit, you only have to meet one more requirement to receive it. Despite this, not all retirees of that age will collect the new payment next day.
Likewise, not all beneficiaries who will receive the next Social Security check must be that age. The group of retirees who get paid in one week or another does not depend on the type of retirement. The important information to determine who will receive the next payment is the date of birth. With the birthday we can determine when we will receive our pension during the month.
Which group will receive the next pension?
On the next Social Security payday, only beneficiaries with birthdays between the 1st and 10th of the month will get their check. However, not all beneficiaries with a date of birth between these days will be able to enjoy the benefit. Any type of beneficiary with a retirement from before 1997 will collect check a little earlier.
Therefore, the first requirement is to have applied for retirement after 1997. The second requirement is to have a birthday between the days named above. So if you have an accepted benefit and your birth is between the 1st and 10th of the month, the next Social Security check will go into your bank account in just a few days.
When does the Social Security Administration send the next check?
The day the Social Security Administration will send the new check to retirees is April 12. This is the first of the checks for retirees after 1997. Beneficiaries who have had a benefit since before that date received their payment on April 3rd, as usual.
After the payment on April 12th, the Administration will send two more payments in the month of April. These two payments will be on the 19th and 26th. On each of these days, a different group of retirees will receive their Social Security.
Beneficiaries born between the 11th and 20th of the month will get their check on the 19th. On the other hand, any beneficiary of the Administration with a check already accepted will have the possibility of collecting their payment on the 26th of April.
