The Social Security schedule ends in this year 2023 for beneficiaries in the United States. Therefore, any beneficiary who has not already received his or her benefit in December 2023 should pay attention to the requirements for the last of the payments. And it is possible that if a retiree has not yet received his or her payment, he or she should get it in the next few days.
In this regard, a new Social Security payment is close to arrive to beneficiaries who meet just two requirements. The remaining payments should already be in the current accounts of the other beneficiaries. One of the great advantages of receiving a pension is that we can know the day we will get it in advance.
This makes it much easier for United States citizens to organize their household finances. Knowing on which days the Social Security Administration sends these checks, we only need to know which group of retirees we belong to. LAST SOCIAL SECURITY PAYMENT IN 2023
The last of the 2023 Social Security calendar payments will be on December 27th. Even so, it will not be the last of the checks the Administration sends out this year. This payment will be the last one originally pertaining to this year, but not the last one it will send. They are different things, since due to a calendar irregularity the first of the 2024 payments we could have it at the end of 2023.
This last payment is only for retirees who belong to group 4 of pensioners. To belong to this group we must meet only two requirements. The first of these requirements is to have the birthday between the 21st and 31st of the month. The second requirement is to have a retirement, disability or other benefit since after 1997.
And there are really no other requirements to be able to find out that December 27th will be our Social Security benefit payment day. In the case of not being within this group of retirees our check should have arrived previously on the 3rd, 13th or 20th of December, so if we do not have it by today we should claim payment as soon as possible.
Also, an extra payment will arrive on the 29th for Supplemental Security Income recipients. If we have this benefit accepted and activate Direct Deposit as a payment method, we will be able to enjoy the first of the January 2024 checks on December 29, 2023. This payment will arrive on the same day with this payment method, but it will arrive a few days later if we have not activated it.
