In the month of February, the United States Social Security Administration has sent out almost all of the checks for retirement payments. As a result, most retirees with an accepted benefit already have the money in their pockets. Since the payment is divided into three groups, there is always one group that collects their Social Security pension last.

The advantage of knowing the day on which we will receive any type of benefit is that we can organize the household economy. Knowing the exact day of payment of the Social Security, we know the day on which we will be able to pay the bills comfortably.

In addition to all this, we also have to take into account that we can organize the household finances in such a way that we save money to pay the following month. This is the best way to be able to pay all the bills without the need to add stress to our pocket.

If you have not yet collected your Social Security retirement benefit but have an accepted pension, don’t worry. In the month of January, the SSA still has yet to send out a new cheque which will be tomorrow. Are you on the list of retirees who will receive it?

Who gets the next cheque from Social Security?

We already know the day of the payment, as it is tomorrow, January 25th. This is the last day on which the Social Security pays any type of benefit in the first month of the year. From here, we will have to wait until February to see the SSA send out a new cheque.

So the group of retirees receiving a retirement benefit cheque is the only data we are missing. In this case we are talking about the group of retirees born between the 21st and 31st of the month. This group is always the last to receive their retirement cheque every month. They always collect their cheque on the fourth Wednesday of the month.

Not only retirees age 65 and older will receive the new cheque

The groups receiving the Social Security benefit are divided by day of birth. This means that the type of retirement doesn’t really matter when it comes to collecting a cheque.

Therefore, it is not only retirees age 65 who will be able to collect the next Social Security cheque tomorrow. Any retiree with the accepted benefit has access to the new cheque.

So remember, it doesn’t matter what type of retirement you have, it matters what day your birthday is. And the month of your birthday doesn’t matter either, nor does the year. The only really important piece of information is the exact day.
